“Bring a Friend to Dance” Week! October 5th-10th
We love introducing dance to our friends at Millbrae Dance Academy! Invite a friend to dance the week of October 5th-10th and let them experience the joy and excitement of dance. If your friend registers for a class, you’ll get a $35 credit on your account for the month of June 2016! Invitations will be passed out in classes this week.

Please ensure your child gives their friend the attached “Invitation Card”. The Invitation Card must be completed by the friend’s parent in order for the friend to participate in “Bring a Friend to Dance” week.
Dress Code for friends: We encourage friends to wear dance attire or tight fitting athletic wear. Hair must be in a bun or ponytail. Shoes should be dance shoes (ballet or jazz if available) or clean tennis/gym shoes that are not worn outside.
WALK-A-THON for Millbrae’s Public Schools

Let’s put on our walking shoes and support Millbrae’s public schools! Come by and visit me, Angela Holmes, at the Millbrae Dance Academy booth at Taylor Middle School on Sunday, October 4th 11am-3pm. All 5 schools in the community join together for The Annual Walk-a-Thon to support public school education in Millbrae.
Roosevelt Chili Cook-Off and Millbrae Dance Academy

At the same time, Ms. Corie Brickman, one of our esteemed dance instructors, will be representing Millbrae Dance Academy at the Roosevelt Chili Cook-Off! So what’s it going to be? The Walk-A-Thon or eating chile? Why not do both! Make sure to stop by and vote for our CHILI! Roosevelt’s Annual Chili Cook-off is the hottest and longest running chili cook-off in San Mateo County. You don’t want to miss the chili, the music, the games, the food and the people.
Recital “Save the Date” – June 12, 2016:
On Sunday, June 12th we will have our annual recital at Bayside Performing Arts Center. We will have a MANDATORY REHEARSALS on Saturday, June 11th. Stay tuned for the recital theme…I don’t want to give away too many details but I know you will love it!
